Well as every one by now knows we have two teams contesting this Year’s Grand Finals. Both team’s out muscled and out played the opposition last weekend with Reserve Grade getting over Barron Trinity and A’s over Brothers. An awesome effort was put out there in both squads to earn their spot’s. This weekend past a lot of us had the opportunity to go down and watch our opponents for the Grand Finals and has given us an opportunity to work out our game plans.

With the past few months behind us it is time to focus on this weekend. Both our opponents do have the capability of turning it on and we have been on the wrong end of the stick with them on quiet a few occasions. I am however confident of both squads doing well provided we remain focused and stick to the game plan. It is the pinnacle of our season and the biggest games of the year so our discipline and patience is needed now more than ever. We have

spoken in the past about our mental application during games and being prepared for what ever is thrown at us. I do believe all the boys will be focused and determined to well and truly wipe away the memories of 2009 and use this as motivation this weekend.

I would like to also go on record that I am extremely proud to be the Coach of such a great bunch of boy’s every one in the squads have there own individual style and when I see every single one come together as two formidable squads it instills in me a sense of pride which can not be taken away. Every member of the squad is as valuable as the next and please remember that with the way the rules are these day’s with rolling substitutions the bench players make up a huge part of the team strategy which puts the bench players into a very big part of the team.
